CSA BEEF ADD-ON

With this new and exciting partnership with Moon Dog Farm, we are offering a bi-weekly beef add-on for your CSA membership! With this add-on, you will receive 5lbs of beef of varying cuts and preparations every other week alongside your regular CSA pickup. This add-on is available to both weekly and bi-weekly members, and will be available on the bi-weekly pickup weeks so the largest number of you can take advantage of it!

As our CSA season is broken down into 3 six-week segments (Spring, Summer, and Fall), your beef will be added three times per segment, with a total of 9 weeks if signing up through the full season. The cuts and preparations of beef will rotate with each week and between every segment, so there will be space between receiving similar preparations. We will rotate through Moon Dog’s different offerings: ground beef, porterhouse steaks, and roasts.

The add-on is $60 per delivery, with each delivery giving you 5 pounds of fresh, local, grass-fed beef in various preparations.

Moon Dog Farm

Located in the Upper Sugar River Watershed, Moon Dog Farm is run by farmer Amos Mayberry. They have small herds of cattle, a chicken flock, and a few hogs on their property, which they manage in rotations across their farm to cycle the carbon in the soil and work “alongside microscopic livestock.”
