Katie grew up in Northern Minnesota and developed an appreciation for the environment and the ways in which it nourishes us at a young age! She attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison and had the opportunity to work in the field of waterway and wetland regulations following her graduation in 2023. Katie has since sought roles that allow her to connect more to her local community and get her hands dirty! As a barista and first-time farmer, she has found a whole lot of meaning in tending to the earth beneath her feet and the people beside her! In her free time, Katie loves a nice long run, jumping in lakes, and biking around with her friends!
