12 oz of Oaxacan chocolate powder, from our friends at Kafetzin Coffee! This chocolate is produced by Zapotecas Indigenous women from a small Oaxacan village from 100% natural cocoa beans and using artisan techniques.
Kafetzin Coffee was started by Maggie Field and Naim Vilchis, five years after meeting in the same town in Puebla, Mexico where the beans are grown. After Naim immigrated to Madison and couldn’t find a coffee he loved, they began bringing some up for themselves and then family and friends. Now, they have their own business and also serve espresso-based drinks at the Monroe Street Farmers’ Market.
